The one secret in my own city that I’m willing to share…New Orleans is a city known for its small town feel. Everyone is always willing to help each other. The mentality of “it takes a village,” really means something here. Not to mention, all of our wonderful food.
Serena believes strongly in her role as a liaison between Hosts Global Alliance offices and major association markets. Serena joined USA Hosts in 1999 as Midwest Regional Manager, after several years in executive positions for the New Orleans Metropolitan Convention & Visitors Bureau and for a large hospitality company. Serena is an active member of PCMA and the Association Forum of Chicagoland and was named the PCMA Supplier of the Year in 2006 and Experient Supplier of the Year in 2008. A longtime resident of New Orleans, Serena earned degrees in pre-Law and Social Sciences from Louisiana State University. Serena loves cooking, reading, writing for fun and biking, but her favorite is hearing her daughter laugh. She likes to stay home enjoying her family and her dogs.
