Gearing Up for the 2016 ADME International Annual Conference

Destination management professionals are packing their bags for Oklahoma City this week to attend the 2016 Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI) Annual Conference. Over 200 attendees will gather at the Skirvin Hilton for education and networking sessions focused on the destination management profession. This year ADME International’s theme encompasses why DMCs are the right solution, with sessions focused on what our clients want geared specifically to DMC owners, sales, and operations teams in concurrent targeted offerings. This education, combined with networking sessions with peers in our industry, is why DMCs look forward to this annual conference.

This is a conference that yields a platform to connect with your industry peers on a different level, as you are not integrated with clients. You are with DMC colleagues, “competitors,” and friends that you can relate to on various levels, from owner to sales and operations. It’s a great opportunity to learn from and with your destination management peers from around the world.

Oklahoma City promises to be the perfect eclectic location for the conference. Local DMC, Factor 110, worked with ADME International to organize fun and entertaining OKC surprises along the way during the conference.  ADME International attendees are sure to be in for a real treat for the Friday Night ADME International Round-up taking place at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum! Can we say, “Yee- haw!!”

Hosts Global Alliance members have a strong representation at the 2016 ADME International Annual Conference with 32  registered attendees and 25 finalists nominated for awards at the Annual Awards Gala, taking place at the end of the conference on Saturday, February 13th.
