WHAT ARE THE ESSENTIAL TASKS?

  • Oversee the end-to-end development of a fully integrated marketing strategy
  • Implement marketing strategy to establish a sequence of lead generation, nurturing and conversion
  • Develop marketing processes and tools that service the brand and achieve business goals
  • Design campaigns and brand advocacy initiatives that strengthen exposure
  • Strategize with executive team and business unit leaders to align sales and marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with alliance leadership:
    • To minimize costs and maximize membership benefits/exposure throughout annual sales mission calendar
    • To produce strategic communications and key marketing events
  • Determine and integrate marketing best practices into company education forums
  • Management of:
    • Marketing budget
    • Support team and oversight of programs/projects being executed by team
    • Vendors
  • Plan, prioritize and lead marketing efforts including:
    • Brand Guidelines/Messaging/Communications
      • Oversees development, compliance and maintenance of brand guidelines, including messaging frameworks and support of brand ambassadors in each business unit
      • Create and manage editorial calendar. Write content and/or requests/assigns authors and set deliverable dates to meet distribution deadlines and increase exposure.
      • Final approval of branded communications prior to distribution
    • Graphic Design/Creative Assets/Collateral   
      • Collaboration with business units to develop content and corresponding design for print, digital and multi-media marketing assets, including assets for key Hosts events.
      • Produce templates for branded assets to minimize costs and maximize use across business units.
    • Email Marketing
      • Management, execution and measurement of email marketing via Pardot
    • Website/Analytics/ Social Media
      • Maintains content, design and functionality of website(s). Manages development and budgets for new web-based projects.
      • Regularly updates blog, press releases and member content.
      • Update/maintain WordPress SEO plugin. Monitor Google Analytics.
      • Develop/track editorial calendar for social media. Post blogs, press releases and media coverage. Provide onsite coverage/support for key events. Develop social campaigns that unite business units.
    • Press Releases/Media/Public Relations/Awards
      • Drive efforts surrounding press releases, public and media relations
      • Maintain targeted media contact list and pitch media opportunities to increase exposure and develop thought leadership opportunities
      • Send nomination opportunities to business units, proof where needed and draft/submit nominations for corporate/alliance opportunities as appropriate.
      • Assess and report on marketing performance
  • Lead development of all high-priority pitch decks and presentations
  • Advocate for creative new processes to drive efficiency and results
  • Collaborate with global and local sales teams in support of priority  initiatives including industry tradeshows, client familiarization trips, high-profile site visits, company meetings, etc.
  • Collaboration with business units to develop content and corresponding design for print, digital and multi-media marketing assets, including assets for key Hosts events.
  • Produce templates for branded assets to minimize costs and maximize use across business units.
  • Ensure that all company communications are written with strong branding and bold voice.
  • Build, lead and mentor the marketing team from the ground up and forecast hiring needs
  • Present and champion conceptual ideas and creative executions with a strong ability to hear feedback objectively and strengthen the work
  • Create an environment that fosters creativity, performance, and structure.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of key competitors with the ability to highlight our competitive advantages and positioning
  • Oversees development, compliance and maintenance of brand guidelines, including messaging frameworks and support of brand ambassadors in each business unit
  • Create and manage editorial calendar. Write content and/or requests/assigns authors and set deliverable dates to meet distribution deadlines and increase exposure.
  • Final approval of branded communications prior to distribution
  • Develop a deep understanding of our brand and how to convey our voice and personality throughout pitches and proposals

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 15+ years of marketing experience
  • Expert level skill in Adobe Creative Suites, Word Press, Salesforce, Pardot, Canva & Microsoft Office
  • Strategic understanding of SEO
  • Demonstrated track record of leading a team with the ability to clearly communicate strategy and vision direction and deliver on deadlines
  • Exceptional and robust portfolio that shows your talent and passion

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Communications, Journalism
