Heidi Baez

Heidi Baez serves as General Manager of Hosts Las Vegas, bringing more than 20 years of hospitality leadership experience spanning event planning, catering operations, revenue strategy, and large-scale meeting management.

Prior to joining Hosts Global, Heidi served as Associate Director of Event Planning for MGM Grand and The Signature in Las Vegas, where she led a high-performing team responsible for one of the largest meetings and events operations in the industry. Throughout her career, she has successfully directed complex programs for corporate, association, and citywide clients, earning a reputation for combining operational excellence with innovative event experiences.

A collaborative and people-focused leader, Heidi is passionate about building strong teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and strengthening the partnership between sales and operations. Her hands-on leadership style emphasizes coaching, mentorship, and delivering exceptional client and guest experiences at every stage of the event journey.

Heidi’s extensive hospitality background includes leadership roles with MGM Resorts International, Marriott International, Visit Orlando, and Gaylord Entertainment. Her career has taken her across several major hospitality markets, including Denver, Dallas, Orlando, and Las Vegas, providing her with a broad perspective on destination management, convention services, and event execution.

As General Manager of Hosts Las Vegas, Heidi leads a team dedicated to creating meaningful, memorable experiences while delivering the local expertise, creativity, and operational excellence that define the Hosts Global brand.

Outside of work, Heidi enjoys live music, golf, and exploring Las Vegas’ dynamic culinary scene with her husband, Jose. Together, they enjoy spending time with their three children and their energetic boxer, Ginger.
