Around the office, you’re known for: Pushing the design limits with a critical eye. I obsess over the font, color scheme and writing in client-facing work. I’m always jet setting off to new places (foreign and domestic!) I’m a perfectionist with fun handwriting and a bad coffee habit.
Meeting or event experience you’ll never forget: Creating an evening in Wonderland for a small VIP group wishing to travel “down the rabbit hole.” We took the classic venue from simply historical to a smashing evening a la Alice and Wonderland. The night was a stunning success as guests left beneath the night sky with a twinkle of nostalgia and fantasy in their eye.
The one DC secret I’m willing to share… The Maine Avenue Fish Market is one of the oldest places in the city and now sits at the crux of what’s historical while also being just a few steps from the trendiest spot in town – the District Wharf. Browsing the market during the day and sampling some local flavor never disappoints.
Leigh is a proud Texas native and graduate of the Washington and Lee University, where she studied Marketing/Branding, Creative Writing, Copyright, and Design. She’s a passionate writer and graphic designer, and she gets her creative fix both in and out of the office “wordsmithing” content as well as creating web and print ready designs for clients and friends. Leigh is exhilarated by any opportunity to put pen to paper, and she adores brainstorms for out of the box ideas and new event concepts. Her sky’s-the-limit attitude and results driven approach makes her a treat to work with while her detail-centered work style ensures no problem is left unsolved.
Leigh’s an avid traveler and foodie, and you can always find her trying out the new hot spots around town or jetting off to a new destination. On any given weekend in DC, you’re bound to find her at hot yoga or jogging in Rock Creek Park.
