When I was 7, I planned my entire birthday party…the theme, décor, menu, etc. I knew then that I was going to be an event planner and have pursued my passion for planning events ever since.
The one secret in my own city that I’m willing to share…
If the weather is bearable, always walk…there are so many amazing things to see walking around Chicago. Walk the Riverwalk and Lake path, the 606, through Lincoln Park and around West Loop. For the best views of the city, walk over to Olive Park or Museum Campus. Every neighborhood has something unique to offer and you can explore so much just by walking through and seeing for yourself.
A Little about Alex…
Alex is a hospitality minded individual with a passion for helping others and a desire for creating memorable and meaningful experiences. Her career has included building a music festival from the ground up, working with corporate clients from all over the world, wedding planning and coordination, opening six new restaurant concepts, rebranding and creating strategic marketing strategies for event venues and working with some of the most talented and creative people in Chicago. Originally from Orlando, FL; Alex received her bachelor’s degree in Event Management at the University of Central Florida. She has called Chicago home for ten years now and enjoys spending time exploring new restaurants, seeing a show, and spending time with friends and family.
