National Vice President of Operations
Around the office, you’re known for: Keeping a bird’s eye view on the big picture. I can always be counted on to poke holes in the plan to make room for improvements. I try to look at situations from every angle to ensure that our team is on track for success. I am also known in the office as the coaster police.
Meeting or event experience you’ll never forget: Working with Capital Region USA (CRUSA) and our local destination marketing organization (DMO) to plan and execute an event that showcased all that Maryland, DC and Virginia have to offer during the IPW closing event at Nationals Park. Along with our partners, we were truly able to demonstrate what sets our region apart from all other destinations.
The one DC secret I’m willing to share… Meridian Hill Park (also known as Malcom X Park) was once home to John Quincy Adams. This hidden gem boasts thirteen cascading fountains that are the longest in North America and is also the perfect Sunday afternoon spot to enjoy one of America’s largest continuing drum circles.
Gina D’Angelo is an event logistics specialist with over a decade of experience in destination management (beginning her career as a Hosts DC intern!). Her skillful management of the Hosts DC and Hosts Baltimore Operations departments has resulted in superior excellence. She has the pleasure of leading some of the most talented people in the business to produce exceptional events and experiences. Personally, Gina executes some of the most highly intensive, logistically complex programs in the company. She has the rare ability to stay calm and composed under pressure, making her a dream to work with.
Gina relishes the opportunity to travel globally to unique and culturally diverse locations. From the beaches of Indonesia to the city streets of Paris, Gina is an avid explorer, although she always loves returning home to the District.
