Sustainability

We have recently initiated our Sustainable Business Journey. We can now quantify the carbon footprint for each of our offices and events, enabling us to generate reports on our carbon emissions and strategies for offsetting them. Collaborating with TRACE, Realm Events will work with event organisers and suppliers to gather estimated data on event attendance, venue electricity usage, supplier purchases for the event and attendee travel. ​ Actual data is collected post event to confirm the final event carbon footprint. ​​ If the Client has committed to carbon compensation, a final true-up of the offsets required will be issued. This could result in a refund of offsets paid if the carbon footprint was actually lower than estimated prior to the event or an additional invoice if it was higher.​

Airport construction continued in China throughout a pandemic which itself continues there, and by the end of 2021 there were almost 250 operational commercial airports throughout the country, this figure exxcluding Hongkong and Macau, ranks No. 2 on the World in terms of the numbers of Airports. Direct international flights are routing to Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Xian, Guilin, Lhasa, Chongqing, Kunming, Lijiang, Shangri-La, Hangzhou, Huangshan, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Wuhan, Urumqi, Kashgar, Guiyang, Hohhot, Harbin, etc.
China has the longest rail system for the domestic trains. The railways are being extended to Europe and South East Asia, within 10 years.

Weather

Due to its size, China’s climate is diverse. Its season’s follow the months of the northern hemisphere.
Winters in northern cities such as Beijing & Xi’an can be incredibly cold with average temperature below 0 degrees but you can expect a milder winter in southern cities such as Shanghai, Hangzhou, Hong Kong.
Spring is a beautiful time, with the Cherry Blossom in full bloom amidst the windy season.
July and August are the hottest months bringing the highest rainfall.
September and October is best time to visit with beautiful plants and colors painting the parks and other rural areas, commemorating the autumn season.
