We loved the theme for this year’s 2018 Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI) Annual Conference that was held this past week in Chicago, Illinois – “If your Destination Management Company (DMC) isn’t evolving, it’s going to be left in the dust”. Our global community had a strong presence at the event and enjoyed participating in the education sessions geared toward advancing our company culture, services and global brand.
It was an exciting week for Hosts Global with alliance leadership and DMC members being sworn onto the ADMEI board, including Marty MacKay, president of Hosts Global’s alliance of DMCs beginning her term as ADMEI president. We were also honored to have DMC members recognized as finalists for the 2018 ADMEI Awards across 6 Achievement and 8 Excellence categories as well as 2 Recognition award finalists. Hosts’ team members in attendance at the awards gala were thoroughly impressed by the event production submitted by all awards winners, and especially proud of their colleagues who won.
