Hosts Global Alliance Helps Preserve the Grand Canyon with Tourism Cares

Hosts Global Alliance (HGA) is displaying their H Factor this week as they work with Tourism Cares to clean up the Grand Canyon in Arizona. In an effort to preserve and enrich the national parks of the United States, Tourism Cares has expanded their annual giveback program to include five projects that will focus on different regions of the United States. The goal is simple: to engage national parks in a way that provides the greatest value to them, their environment, and the traveling public. HGA is proud to assist in this endeavor.

On hand to represent HGA in this project is Joshua Jones, DMCP, President of Hosts Las Vegas, A Hosts Global Alliance Member, and Denise Marie Germano, Associate Director of Global Events and Communications for HGA. Denise Marie Germano comments, “Being involved with this initiative is a remarkable experience. At HGA, we understand that tourism involves so much more than planning events; it also means giving back to the locations that many of our groups visit. We are thankful for the opportunity to show the H Factor of HGA to the community alongside Tourism Cares.”

Additional projects by Tourism Cares that will focus on cleaning up the National Parks include: Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area (February 5, 2016), Mississippi River National Recreation Area (May 20, 2016), Mount Rainier National Park (September 16, 2016), and Ellis Island, NYC (November 4, 2016).
