Hosts Global Alliance (HGA) holds true to their culture of making a difference in the work place, within the community and in the meetings industry. They recognize the need to go above and beyond in order to create a more unified and positive environment for all. There is even a name for this extra something special – The H Factor. It is what they live by. The H Factor is heart, happiness, hospitality, hip ideas and honors, all rolled into one package.
Last week at the 2014 Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI) Conference in Washington D.C., five HGA Members were recognized as they won six 2014 ADMEI Achievement Awards for programs that displayed true H Factor.

HGA Member and ADMEI award winner, Bent Hadler, DMCP, expresses, “After being in this great industry for more than 30 years, this is one of the most important moments I ever could have dreamt of. I am humble to the fact that this is how I’m perceived by colleagues; I will never forget the surprising second that I really understood that Immediate Past President Liz Keyser called me to the scene to recognize my work. Thanks to all ADMEI members for this privilege.”
Hosts Global CEO, Jennifer Patino, DMCP, also comments, “HGA evaluates many factors when selecting our Alliance Members. We align ourselves with award-winning companies, which was evident during the 2014 ADMEI Achievement Awards. This year there were 14 categories, 12 HGA member finalists and 6 award winners. We are delighted with the results from this distinguished group of DMC members!”
In keeping with the HGA tradition of raising the bar and in addition to their success in winning two ADMEI Awards, Hosts Las Vegas, a Hosts Global Alliance Member, has also been named a “Top Workplace in Nevada in 2014” by the Las Vegas Review Journal. Hosts Las Vegas is ranked first out of 20 winning companies in their category in Nevada. Hosts Las Vegas Vice President, Joshua Jones, DMCP, remarks, “Being named a Top Workplace is an incredible honor for us. Our mission is to be a company people want to work with, as well as work for, and this recognition shows that we have created a culture of truly happy people. We want all of our employees to feel they are a part of something special and that they can make a difference every day for our clients, our partners and each other. I am incredibly proud of our team and very lucky to call them colleagues and friends.”
