02.24.2015
PRESS RELEASE

Hosts Global Alliance (HGA) continues their reputation of excellence as members were presented with prestigious awards at the 2015 Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI) Conference in Los Cabos, Mexico last week. The HGA H Factor that clients have come to adore was proudly displayed as HGA members accepted their Honors in front of the distinguished event community. Three HGA Members were recognized with awards for various achievements within the hospitality industry.

Jennifer Patino, DMCP, CEO of Hosts Global and Immediate Past President of ADME International, comments, “I was extremely thrilled to be present to witness so many of our members receive ADME International Achievement Awards. This year there were many reasons to celebrate, from the success of HGA’s Italian partner Lorenzo Pignatti of +39 Events as he received DMC Professional of the Year, to Hosts Chicago’s Daniel Ecklund winning the Volunteer of the Year award, and let’s not forget the Best Overall Event that was awarded to Hosts Las Vegas! Industry awards such as these truly acknowledge our commitment to creativity, honors, and the DMC profession.”

The winning HGA Members include:

Volunteer of the Year Award: Daniel Ecklund, DMCP of Hosts Chicago

Destination Management Professional of the Year Award: Lorenzo Pignatti, DMCP of +39 Events

Best Creative Events – Best Overall Program: Hosts Las Vegas for Hackin’ the Way to the Summit!

When asked how he felt about Hosts Las Vegas winning for Best Overall Program, Joshua Jones, DMCP, President of Hosts Las Vegas, remarked, “I am extremely proud of the Hosts Las Vegas team! We are so honored to win the “Best Overall Program” Achievement Award. Our winning event was truly a team effort that required months of logistical planning and countless sleepless nights. The lead planning team of Aubrie Jones, DMCP, Shanon Moore, Sara Rawlins, DMCP, and Michelle Sandler, CEM really set the bar for future events. The entire team is delighted to be given such wonderful recognition from ADME International.”

Another HGA victor, Lorenzo Pignatti, DMCP of +39 Events, showed his gratitude on winning his award, “Receiving the award for the Destination Management Professional of the Year has been a great honor, but to me the simple fact of being appreciated as someone who helped the DMC community to grow and develop is, in itself, the greatest achievement I could ever dream of. I will continue to work hard helping ADMEI to develop internationally, especially in Europe. As I firmly believe that sharing best practices and educating new professionals is the only way to ensure a solid future for the DMC business.”

ADME International remains the perfect platform for sharing across the hospitality community. HGA, and all of its DMC members, are eager to continue collaborating with industry professionals, and as always, they look forward to the creating another successful year of events in 2015.
