Las Vegas, NV — Hosts Global, the premier destination management company (DMC), concluded its highly anticipated 9th Annual Global Forum last month, but not before recognizing their Global Alliance Members for their outstanding achievements in the meetings and events industry. The awards were presented by Robert Lee, VP of Global Sales and Alliance Engagement, and highlighted the exceptional efforts and contributions of Hosts Global Members made this year.

2023 Made Memorable Award: Hosts Louisville, A Hosts Global Member
The Made Memorable Award recognizes a DMC’s efforts to ensure meaningful outcomes for clients, their destination, the planet, or their company. Hosts Louisville achieved this award through their sustainable initiatives, commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and impactful local community give-back. Their event for 275 guests aligned with client goals, delivering sustainability, diversity, and budget constraints. By using locally sourced food, partnering with Food Recovery Network to donate over 100 pounds of food, and engaging a supplier network of over 83% minority and women-owned organizations, Hosts Louisville demonstrated conscious event design.

2023 Ferocious Creativity Award: COTC Events, A Hosts Global Member
The Ferocious Creativity Award recognizes a DMC’s innovative design and décor, demonstrating creativity from thought process to execution. COTC Events earned this award for their outstanding work on a technology client’s event, overcoming challenges like rain and logistical changes. With the theme “Tech Through the Decades,” COTC Events delivered a vibrant and engaging main event for over 2000 industry clients. From a 1960s silent disco to a space man for photo ops and remote-control drones for the 2000s, their program showcased ferocious creativity.

Special Award for Operational Excellence: Spectra, A Hosts Global Member
Spectra received a special award for operational excellence in the face of an unprecedented challenge. Operating in two countries, Spectra faced logistical hurdles due to the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Despite road closures, supplier modifications, and last-minute changes, Spectra’s proactive approach turned the challenge into a unique and memorable experience for the client. The program was made inclusive of the historic event, showcasing the value of a DMC as a true local expert and partner.
