Hosts Global (Hosts) was honored to receive the 2017 “Supplier of the Year” award in the large Destination Management Company (DMC) category from Maritz Travel (Maritz). Karen Christensen, CMP, vice president of global sales for Hosts, and liaison for the Hosts/Maritz partnership, accepted the award during the Maritz Travel Collaborative, an annual conference for business planning and education that gathers Maritz team members, sponsors and supplier partners each August.
Maritz “Supplier of the Year” award recognizes the premier Maritz partners across various hospitality categories. Winners are selected by a set of criteria that is evaluated by all Maritz employees. “Receiving this award highlights the mutual admiration and success of our partnership, said Marty MacKay, DMCP, president of Hosts Global Alliance. As a dedicated partner for over three decades, the Hosts team is honored to receive this prestigious distinction in the large DMC category for the second time.
