Get to know Abby:

Around the office, you’re known for: I believe in the power of teamwork and am always willing to jump in and help in any department. Need a fresh set of eyes on a project? I’m there. Someone to troubleshoot a last-minute hiccup? Got it. An emergency taste-tester for a new seasonal cocktail? Say no more.

Meeting or event experience you’ll never forget: I will never forget when a massive storm knocked the power out just 20 minutes before guests were supposed to arrive. After lighting the room with tealights I found in old centerpieces and playing music on a Bluetooth speaker that we sold in the giftshop, we were able to turn the space into a beautifully intimate, candlelit dinner. When the power finally came back on in the last hour, the guests immediately asked for them to be turned off again because they were enjoying the candle-lit vibe so much! We love an unplanned success!

The one Louisville secret I’m willing to share… One of the best free events in the city is Waterfront Wednesday—a monthly outdoor concert series along the river, hosted by WFPK. It’s the perfect way to enjoy live music with a beautiful view, great local food vendors, and a fun crowd. Whether you bring a picnic blanket or just show up ready to dance, it’s a must-experience Louisville tradition!

About Abby: Abby is a dedicated hospitality professional from Bourbon Country with five years of experience in events. She earned her degree in Hospitality Management and Tourism from the University of Kentucky and began her career as an Event Coordinator at Angel’s Envy, where she crafted seamless guest experiences that left lasting impressions on both her and her clients. After collaborating with Host’s Global on several events, she knew she had found the perfect fit and was destined to be part of the team.

Outside of work, Abby loves exploring Louisville, finding local markets and festivals, and soaking in the city’s vibrant culture. She finds joy in life’s simple pleasures and, if it were socially acceptable, would happily spend every rainy day on her front porch hammock with her cat and her partner, Thomas.
