Annika Clutch, a bilingual events professional from Berlin, Germany, excels in crafting memorable experiences that forge connections between people and brands, ideas, and values. With a passion for exploring diverse cultures and cuisines, Annika ventured through various hospitality industry facets, earning Awards in Wine from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust to become a sommelier. Throughout her career, Annika’s unwavering dedication and entrepreneurial spirit have propelled her to success.
Her extensive career encompasses front-of-house operations, televised events, sales and marketing, business development, and corporate, DMC, and third-party event planning. Annika is an active member of Women Leading Travel & Hospitality and serves on the Board of Directors for SITE’s Southeast chapter. She champions philanthropic causes, including SOS Children’s Villages with a sponsor child in Zambia.
After two decades in Chicago, Annika and her family relocated to Northern Virginia, near Washington, D.C., embracing the outdoors and milder winters. On her days off, she indulges in gardening with a glass of crisp French white wine within arm’s reach, while stretching into yoga poses and enjoying music. And with two cats and a dog by her side, nothing beats the joy of spending quality time with friends and family worldwide!
