Get to know Jillian…

Around the office, you’re known for:
Staying calm under pressure, embracing the chaos, and predicting obstacles. Focus on the solution, not the problem!

Meeting or event experience you’ll never forget:
The first program that I had operated, Magic Johnson spoke at one of the conferences. Prior to his speech, the Royal Boys Choir opened for him with their moving rendition of the song “Rise Up.” The performance gave me goosebumps and ended with a standing ovation from the crowd! After his speech, Magic brought the boys from the Royal Boys Choir into his green room where he gave them each an autographed Lakers jersey and took pictures with them. I will never forget him telling the boys to never give up on their dreams, no matter what anyone says. It was truly an incredible experience that I will never forget.

The one New Orleans secret I’m willing to share…
As someone who loves to run and bike, I have discovered many fun and scenic trails throughout the city. One of my favorites is the Lafitte Greenway – a 2.6-mile linear park through New Orleans, from the edge of the city’s French Quarter to Mid-City and the doorstep of City Park. Going down the Laffitte Greenway, you get a taste of all that the city of New Orleans has to offer. Don’t forget to stop at Parkway Bakery for a po-boy and Café du Monde for a beignet along the way!

Jillian is born and raised in Cincinnati, OH. Jillian had initially found her passion for events in the sports industry. After graduating from Miami University with her bachelors in Sports Administration, she moved to Louisiana to pursue a graduate assistantship in facility and event operations at Northwestern State University. Shortly after receiving her masters, she began her career in New Orleans as an Event Coordinator of Caesars Superdome, Smoothie King Center, and Champions Square. This is where she discovered her love for elaborate corporate events and making visions come to life!
