Around the office, you’re known for: Having fun! I may also be guilty of the occasional prank. We get to create experiences for people everyday, so I try to make each day count!
Meeting or event experience you’ll never forget: I’m always chasing goosebumps and am very lucky to have found many in my career. My favorite moments are seeing a vision come to life, a client saying “you nailed it,” or seeing the joy on a colleagues’ face when they create an incredible event for a client.
The one secret in my own city that I’m willing to share… Off the strip is the way to go if you’re looking for a more authentic experience in Vegas. There are so many special spots worth checking out including Frankie’s Tiki Bar and Capo’s Speakeasy.
Joshua Jones, DMCP has been in the destination management arena for 15 years. Joshua has helped produce thousands of events over the last decade and has a unique understanding of both Sales & Operations. Joshua’s philosophy of “All challenges are seen as Opportunities to Succeed” enables him to deliver top-notch service and build long-term relationships with clients and Strategic Partners. Josh is a believer in continuing education and industry leadership having served as President of the ISES Las Vegas Chapter, ongoing education with UNLV and The International School of Hospitality and involvement with ADME International. Joshua loves to golf, travel and laugh with this friends and family and of course spend time rough-housing with his two boxers, Layla and Dempsey.
