Kate Duzan is an experienced marketing professional who has dedicated 19 years to various creative marketing roles across multiple industries. While working in the hospitality industry, Kate discovered her true passion for marketing destinations, meetings, and events. Her diverse background encompasses creative direction, strategy, design, global brand development, and social media.
Kate is known for her innovative approach to marketing, constantly bringing a creative lens to her work. She is always ready to tackle any challenge, and she isn’t afraid to dive in and get her hands dirty. She uses this hands-on approach not only in her professional capacity with team collaborations and brainstorm sessions- but at home as well with her children and husband. Known for being detailed-oriented, whether it’s a large-scale client event or her 4 year old’s birthday party, she makes sure to have all the little details and personal touches present that combine for a perfectly executed event.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Kate cherishes her time with her family, including her young four children and her husband. They share their home with their rescue pup, Blue, who adds joy- and naturally, more crazy to their lives. Kate’s love for water and the outdoors draws her to the lake almost every weekend during the summer and fall seasons. It’s a time for her and her family to enjoy their favorite outdoor activities like swimming, boating, and simply relaxing by the water.
However, it is the Coastal Carolinas that truly capture Kate’s heart when it comes to vacations. The beach is her favorite destination, where she shines in creating memorable experiences for her family. Whether it’s teaching her children how to surf or building elaborate sand castle cities, the beach holds a special place in Kate’s heart. It is where she can fully enjoy quality time with her loved ones, creating cherished family memories.
