Meeting or event experience you’ll never forget: I had the honor of planning a 3-day long 90th birthday celebration. There were many memorable moments throughout the event but one I won’t forget is when we revealed a surprise synchronized swimming performance dedicated to the guest of honor, featuring her favorite childhood songs. Seeing the look of pure joy and delight on her face, while surrounded by her friends and family, was so heartwarming.
The one Orange County secret I’m willing to share… One of the must-do experiences in Orange County is a summer visit to Laguna Beach. Start your day by hopping on the free summer trolley, which a perfect way to explore without the hassle of parking. Laguna Beach is known for its vibrant art community, so make sure to stop by the Festival of the Arts and the Sawdust Art Festival where you can see a showcase of local talent and unique crafts. As the sun sets, head to Shaw’s Cove for a stunning view. End your day at the iconic Pageant of the Masters, where the backdrop makes the living art experience even more incredible.
About Lauren: Lauren was born and raised in Southern California. She studied Musical Theater and earned her degree from UC Santa Barbara. Throughout her time in theater, she loved the collaborative nature of putting together productions and discovered a parallel to this within the event world. She is especially passionate about finding ways to support local suppliers and give back to the community through events. After graduating, she solidified her love for this industry during her time at Terranea Resort where she was a part of their growing in-house DMC. She could not be more excited to have joined the Hosts team and to continue creating unforgettable experiences. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys trying out new classes, ranging from guitar to aerial arts. She loves exploring the beach cities by going to local shows and trying out new restaurants.
