With almost 40 years in the travel industry, Karen brings a wealth of knowledge with combined buyer and supplier experience. After 10 years working for incentive travel companies, Karen worked in the Worldwide Sales Office for Four Seasons/Regent Hotels & Resorts, then joined Rosewood Hotels and Resorts as Regional Director of Sales representing the entire collection of luxury hotels and resorts.
In 2000, Karen joined Radisson Seven Seas (now Regent Seven Seas) as Director of Charter & Incentive Sales for this luxury cruise line. Finding her passion for cruises, she opened 3D Cruise Partners in 2004 as CEO, allowing her and her team to use decades of cruise industry experience to bring instant cruise ‘insider’ expertise to customers by providing immediate access and complete details for all cruise lines.
Marty has spent her entire career mastering the event world. Her professional background began on the client side, where she learned the event business from the ground up while working at a leading fortune 500 company. From there, she took her experience as a client and transitioned to running multiple DMC locations in the mid-Atlantic. In 2013 she joined Hosts Global, where she more than doubled the size of the global alliance of DMCs and introduced best practices and standards across the membership. Marty was the 2018-2019 president of ADMEI and continues to be a leader in the hospitality industry’s focus to drive emergency preparedness and GDPR preparation.
