Hosts and August Jackson, our sister company and brand engagement agency, led the production and creative for multiple events, including general sessions, trade show exhibits, interactive attendee events, breakouts, brand sessions, awards galas and afterglows.
The international hotel brands’ general managers are the captains of their properties, steering the way to profitability. This event was not only significant to the brand, but vital to the company’s culture and bottom-line. Every moment was created intentionally to celebrate the GM’s efforts and champion them throughout the year.
It was also critical to produce a one-of-a-kind destination experience. We tapped into celebrated, local talent for unforgettable performances, including an inner-city children’s choir, drum line and acrobatic troupe.
To celebrate a brand-new dining concept, we helped produce a larger-thanlife treehouse featuring a fully miniaturized bistro bar for attendees to climb into, sit in, check out the new bar menus, of course, pose for pictures. GMs enjoyed a beer coaster installation and coloring wall, bringing the GM community closer together.
Our work spanned multiple venues, spurred by multiple visions of multiple brand managers. Each event was tailormade for its group of brand GMs and their individual personalities and goals.
With each General Managers Conference, the international hotel brands come to the table ready to raise the bar from the previous year. This year was no exception and the conference was just that – exceptional. The GMs left recharged and ready to lead with renewed fervor. It was a massive success. We’re still pulling confetti out of our hair.
