In preparation for tomorrow’s flood of opportunity, while under the tighter constraints of COVID-19, Hosts Global is proactively evolving and focusing our business to ensure our high-touch approach to client management is delivered without exception in key markets when business returns. What does this mean?
- Our commitment is rock solid. We are not going anywhere. We will continue to be living exemplars of our service ethic and thought leadership, offering the best possible experiences to clients and delivering on that promise every single day.
- Effective Monday, May 18th, Hosts Global will be 100% focused on delivering exceptional experiences in Hosts’ destination cities. We will be temporarily suspending our global alliance of independent Destination Management Companies (DMCs) but will continue to offer our global expertise to help service our clients. This decision was not an easy one and certainly not based on performance as our DMC members are the crème de le crème. This decision is situational, it would not be occurring if not for our current inability to properly plan for, vet and deliver business to our family of DMCs. We’ve notified all Hosts Global DMC members, and will evaluate reconstituting the alliance once meetings and events return and stabilize.
- Our narrowed focus increases client value in terms of offering them fiscal responsibility, risk management, safety and of course our hallmark delivery of ferocious creativity and exceptional service.
- From coast to coast, Hosts destinations continue to serve as local experts for our clients as they plan for future meetings and events, and are poised to deliver, in true Hosts fashion, as soon as the world starts traveling again. We’re aligned with our local DMOs and hospitality partners to ensure we are able to super-serve client needs, deliver superior ideas and ensure all are prepared to #MeetWithConfidence.
