Get to know Holly…

Around the office, you’re known for: I used to be known as the young one and now I’m known as the “tenured one.” My experience has given me the ability to be a positive sounding board for my colleagues which I love.

Meeting or event experience you’ll never forget: In recent years, some of those most unforgettable experiences have been, in no particular order:

  • Designing a special New Year’s Eve dinner on the eve of New Orleans’ tricentennial.
  • Setting up double ziplines in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome for an 18,000-person event while Big Freida performed on the main stage.
  • Designing (for 18 months!) and executing the Centennial Celebration for National Automobile Dealers Association.

The one New Orleans secret I’m willing to share… The beautiful oak trees are one of my favorite characteristics of New Orleans. New Orleans City Park is 1,300 acres and has the largest grove of mature live oaks in the world. The oldest trees are 600-800 years old and are located in the 60-acre Couturie Forest section of the park.

As a New Orleans native, Holly “knows what it means to have missed New Orleans.” After graduating from Louisiana State University with a bachelor in mass communications, concentrating in broadcast journalism, she hurried home to join our team at Hosts. She has a special enthusiasm for creative special events and large-scale productions. Holly professes there’s no better product to sell than the charming city of New Orleans! Our clients and their participants agree that her extraordinary vision and expertise is an invaluable ingredient to the success of their programs. Holly’s leadership inspires this team on a daily basis.
