Hosts Global (Hosts) proudly recognizes our alliance leadership and Destination Management Company (DMC) members who were sworn in to serve on the 2018 Board of Directors for the Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI), as well as our DMC members who won prestigious 2018 ADMEI Awards. Both the board and awards ceremonies occurred this past week during ADMEI’s Annual Conference held in Chicago, Illinois.
Throughout the next year, Marty MacKay, DMCP, president of Hosts Global’s alliance of DMC’s will serve as president for ADMEI. Michelle Crosby, CMP, DMCP, director of global sales for Hosts, will continue to serve on the ADMEI board of directors along with Brigitte Boone, CMP, CMM, DMCP, CIS, director of @dmire and newly sworn in board member Robyn Bass, DMCP, president of Maple Ridge Events, both Hosts Global members. The organization is proud to play such an active role in supporting the premier resource for education, standards and practices within the DMC industry.
ADMEI’s awards gala recognized winners across three major categories; Achievement, Excellence and Recognition, each with multiple award opportunities per category. Submissions were open to all 203 of ADMEI’s member DMCs and finalists were selected by independent judging panels based on merit. Hosts was honored to have DMC members recognized as finalists across 6 Achievement and 8 Excellence categories as well as 2 Recognition award finalists. Hosts team members in attendance at the gala were thoroughly impressed by the event production submitted by all award finalists, and especially proud of their colleagues who won in the following categories:
