Hosts Global (Hosts) announced the addition of two new alliance members, Downeast Destination Management Company (DMC) servicing Canada’s Atlantic region and Premio DMC Costa Rica. Both companies have decades of experience as their region’s local expert in planning and executing meetings, conventions, incentive programs and special events. They will join Hosts Global in booth #C2836 at IMEX America in Las Vegas, Nevada from October 16 – 18, 2018 to share the latest group offerings and industry news from each of their destinations.
“Downeast and Premio DMCs are fantastic additions to our global consortium,” said Marty MacKay, DMCP, president of Hosts Global’s alliance of DMCs. “Both firms are highly respected, represent the shared principles of our Hosts Global community and operate in destinations that are in high-demand from our clients.”
Downeast DMC thrives on enabling groups to unite and hit their marks when convening in Canada’s Atlantic region, specifically New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. “We are thrilled to be part of the Hosts Global family,” says Pearleen Mofford, managing director at Downeast DMC. “This partnership gives us a chance to share with the world the incredibly special place we call home and all its unique charms, rich history, vibrant culture and breathtaking scenery.”
Premio DMC provides services throughout Costa Rica, a country with active volcanoes, endless beaches and abundant biodiversity resulting in incredible options for meetings and incentives. “Our team is delighted to be a part of a global family that shares the same high service standards,” said Helena Chavarría, president and director of Premio DMC Costa Rica. “We look forward to representing Hosts Global and introducing clients to the innovative offerings we can deliver in Costa Rica.”
Hosts Global members are selected based on stringent criteria to ensure the global alliance is comprised of only best-in-class DMCs. The addition of Premio DMC Costa Rica and Downeast DMC strengthens the consortiums’ presence in Central America and service capabilities along Canada’s popular Atlantic region.
