Hosts New Orleans was honored to receive a 2018 Gala Award from Special Events magazine during their annual gala celebration at The Special Event currently being held in New Orleans. Entries for these prestigious awards were submitted from 11 countries, then narrowed down to 105 nominees across 34 categories by members of the Special Events Advisory Board. Hosts New Orleans was nominated alongside esteemed colleagues for both the “Best Multiple-Day Incentive Event” and “Best Event Produced for a Corporation or Association: Budget $250,000 to $500,000”. The team was thrilled to have won “Best Multiple-Day Incentive Event” for their work on a major international financial management company’s 2017 program.
For this award-winning four-day incentive program, Hosts New Orleans provided airport transfers, tours, events, a dine around and entertainment for 100 guests. The client challenged Hosts New Orleans to show their guests a great time without any tourist trappings, while ensuring VIP treatment to solidify the guests’ importance to the financial management company. From horse-drawn carriage transfers to a second-line parade led by a police motorcade, Hosts New Orleans rolled out the red carpet and left all attendees with an unforgettable experience in “The Big Easy”.
