Operations Manager
Around the office, you’re known for:
My keychains! Almost everything I own must have a cute keychain attached to my office keys, backpack, phone, or almost anything.
Meeting or event experience you’ll never forget:
Attending Anime Expo is one of the most memorable events I have been to so far. It is one of the biggest anime conventions annually and located in the Los Angeles Convention Center, typically during 4th of July weekend. The convention aims to celebrate Japanese animation and culture with its attendees. It features many large animation companies in Japan, entertainers, cosplayers, voice actors, artists, video games, and many more. As a fan of anime since I was young, seeing this come to life in person was initially an overwhelming yet amazing experience that I would love to go back to every year!
The one San Diego secret I’m willing to share…
Convoy is an absolute gold mine of amazing Asian cuisine in San Diego! I love taking friends and family there and it has pretty much anything for everybody. Each restaurant in the area offers specialties that make them unique (i.e.: Ramen, Dumplings, Revolving Sushi Bar, Korean Fried Chicken, Curry, and many more). If that didn’t make you feel full already, Convoy also has plenty of dessert options to choose from. Boba or Bubble Tea are popular dessert drinks. Some of my favorite places here I highly recommend are Tasty Noodle House (Shanghai Cuisine with the tastiest dumplings), Bistro Kaz (Italian Japanese fusion), and Camelia Rd Tea Bar (Boba/Bubble Tea). Recently, the mayor of San Diego opened the sign “Convoy Asian Cultural District” which is stationed at the 805-freeway when you’re about to exit into the area, which is super cool to see after coming here for many years.
