Job Summary

Interested in leading communications for the largest destination management consortium in the hospitality industry? Our new Communications Manager will create, implement and oversee communications programs (internal and external), including email marketing, to elevate the Hosts Global brand. Responsibilities include:

  • Ability to transform concepts into themes, messages and stories
  • Copywriting and editing for high-value client proposals, including meetings, presentations and communications
  • Research and understand clients, audiences and industries pertinent to Hosts Global
  • Work with sales, marketing and corporate services to develop and execute a strategic approach to effective email marketing via Pardot
  • Create strategic content specific to various sales and marketing initiatives including marketing materials, websites, press releases, articles, white papers, corporate videos and presentations
  • Copyedit materials for internal and external (client-facing) documents
  • Responsible for deadlines – yours and those on project teams
  • Maintaining a pulse on the latest special events, communications and technology trends, pop culture and current/relevant global media happenings
  • Support the development of Hosts’ creative process, environment and new creative resources

 

Requirements  

  • Experience as a communications leader or copywriter
  • Understanding of communications strategy, digital media, marketing campaigns and video
  • Knowledge of the hospitality and/or destination management industry
  • Experience using Pardot (required) with ability to layout communications for visual effectiveness within the templates provided
  • Proficient writer, editor and proofreader
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Confident communicator with excellent written communication skills
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to effectively manage time and multiple projects.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team
